  • JERRY WILSON, Vice President, 3 year term, appointed to complete term in May 2004.

The Board of Directors is supported by a group of volunteer homeowners who work on the Architectural Review Committee and Website committee.  There are many ways you can get involved in your community!  We invite you to!

Community concerns

The Homeowners at Country Crossing have a wonderful opportunity to get involved with your community via the Homeowners Association already established in our community.  The Board of Directors is elected by you and work on your behalf to make our neighborhood a pleasant and safe place to live.

You can educate yourself on community issues and be involved in the process by attending the meetings held throughout the year.  There are two important meeting dates coming up:  September 14th and the ANNUAL MEETING set for October 26

Here are many of the important issues we will discuss during the September 14th meeting:

  • The September 14th meeting is designated for the H.O.A. “Special Assessment” and budget issues.
  • Plus, an update on Adams Homes usage agreement

The October 26th Annual meeting will focus around the following:

  • Elections for HOA Board Members whose term has ended
  • The Annual Budget Report and your HOA Annual Dues
  • New Developments surrounding our area, such as Adams Homes, Peda Development and Ryland Homes.
  • Agreements with Spring Ridge and Adams regarding Association and park usage.
  • Any pending litigation and issues that may lead to litigation for the HOA.

BLOCK CAPTAINS

We need YOU!  Many of our neighbors have asked for the organization of Block Captains for our community.

Why become a Block Captain?  As a block captain, you will help our community to create a supportive and welcoming atmosphere for your neighbors.

What will a Block Captain do?  You will be asked to keep emergency contact lists for your block and establish ways to keep your block involved with community events.  You will also work with the Apopka Police Dept to create a neighborhood watch.

Have any reservations about becoming a Block Captain? Don’t!  You will be guided in what to do, and how.  This will be an exciting and rewarding way to get in touch with your community!

If you are interested, please attend the September 14th meeting, or e-mail the Board from the website: www.countrycrossinghoa.com.

POOL COMMITTEE

As you may be aware, our neighborhood pool is a popular place to visit these hot summer days!  We have many people enjoying the sun and water at the pool, and your HOA would like to create a team of community volunteers to help monitor the pool and help keep the area safe.  If interested, please attend the September 14th meeting, or e-mail the Board from the website: www.countrycrossinghoa.com.

Adams homes HOA Membership

In the upcoming meetings, we will discuss the newest developments planned that will directly affect our community.  This includes land owned by Peda Development and Ryland Homes.  This discussion will include information on the status of Adams Homes and how and when they may become a part of our HOA.  This will be something you do not want to miss!

Other Community Items

We also plan to discuss new rules for our playground area, the playground built at Adams Homes, new lighting and safety measures at the pool and playgrounds, and other issues.

If You Have Questions

Please bring them to the meetings!  If you cannot attend, send your neighbor.  Also, please check out your HOA website at:  www.countrycrossinghoa.com.
