When and where do Board meetings occur?
(Updated 1/12/2005)
The Board meets on the second Tuesday of April and October at 6:45 PM in the Apopka Elementary School Cafeteria.
Apopka Elementary School 675 Old Dixie Hwy. Apopka, FL 32712
While the purpose of the meeting is for the Board to conduct business, homeowners are highly encouraged to attend; doing so provides the perfect opportunity to take an active role as a homeowner association member and influence the direction of our community. Keep in mind that during these meetings, only Board members have official voting privileges unless a major change to the Bylaws is being proposed. All homeowners will be notified in the event this occurs.
A sign is posted near the Community entrance 48 hours prior to each meeting, in accordance with the guidelines.

None of the current Board members (with the exception Doug Freeman) have actually been elected into their positions. What gives?
(Posted 1/13/2005)
All of the original Board members have resigned because they moved or are going to be moving (jobs, personal reasons, etc...). Out of all the original members, only one is still living within the area.
The original Board members appointed new members that they felt were up to the challenge to fulfill the remainder of their terms.
The end result is an extremely positive and optimistic Board that is dedicated to bettering our neighborhood!

What ever happened to us having a vote Adams Homes into our Association?
(Posted 1/13/2005)
The City of Apopka is essentially requiring that they be a part of our Association.
The area that Adams Homes is located was designed and sold to be a part of our community. For example, Adams Homes have usage rights of our pool and playground towards the front of the neighborhood, we have usage rights of their playground towards the back of the neighborhood, and our irrigation system extends well into their common area.
Note that after everything is said and done, Spring Ridge, Phase I will NOT be a part of our Association; just the newer Adams Homes.
As of this writing, the City of Apopka is in the process of finalizing the union of two communities with the developer.
