What's being done about the pool area?
(Updated 1/12/2005)
The pool has just been repaired and resurfaced with Diamond Brite...and it looks GREAT!!
Special thanks goes out to Jim Knaub (a member of the Architectural Review Committee) for his dedication in negotiating bids and working with the contractor who performed the repairs.
Note, however, the pool area remains closed for the time being as there are pending repairs that need to be made to the restrooms and cabana area. The repairs are expected to be complete by mid-Spring or so.

Can anything be done about people parking in the street?
(Updated 1/27/2005)
With a few exceptions, parking in the street appears to be allowed by City of Apopka law, and there's nothing in our Assocation's bylaws that says otherwise.
On a related note, the law does prohibit blocking the sidewalk while parked in one's driveway.
Apopka's complete Code of Ordinances is available here. The article that appears to deal with parking cars is located here.
If you have further questions about these or other laws and/or feel somebody is violating them, we urge you to contact the Apopka Police's non-emergency number at 407-703-1771.
